Hello, friend!

My name is Manassé ZANNOU, and I am a freelance proofreader.

Since my childhood, I’ve always been a voracious reader, which resulted in making me a grammar connoisseur. My keen eye for detail and my ability to spot errors have been noticed by people around me, and so, over the years, I have been trusted with documents like PhD memoirs, blogs articles, administrative reports and résumés, with great efficiency and excellent feedback. In a nutshell, proofreading is my superpower!

Aware of that, I decided to hone that skill to the level of excellence in order to help a larger number of people grow their businesses.

In November 2022, I graduated from Caitlin Pyle’s popular course, General Proofreading: Theory and Practice, by passing the final exam with a score superior to 90%.

Prior to that, I earned a master’s degree in Earth Sciences in 2012, and I’ve been a geologist since 2019.

My background in geology has taught me to pay attention to the smallest details, which I believe is crucial when proofreading. In geology, observation is key. We must scrutinize structures of millimeter to centimeter size in order to identify the rocks that we encounter.

When I am not working, I enjoy reading, watching Netflix, playing and following football , traveling, playing with my dogs, listening to music, and drawing. My favorite reading topics are personal development, financial and social well-being, geek/otaku culture, and male and female psychology.

I have a wide range of interests, and I believe this helps me to be a more well-rounded person.

My main goal is to keep improving my proofreading skills to bring total satisfaction to my customers. If you are in need of a last check for your text – a last check to make it clean, efficient and error-free – look no further! Feel free to contact me; I will gladly respond.

Thank you for visiting my page. Your time is valuable, and I’m aware of it. I look forward to working with you.
